Artist Bio

Irene Febry (b. 1989, Bogor) is an Indonesian artist based in Bali. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. Working with the collage method, she brings together materials such as handmade and recycled papers, drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, textiles, and found objects. Her practice explores the relationships between landscape, memory, and human culture. In 2021, she was awarded the Silver Award for Emerging Artist at the UOB Painting of the Year and has participated in solo and group exhibitions across Indonesia.
